Here are a few pictures taken over the last several months

Wow! It’s been forever since I’ve posted. Life just keeps rolling on it seems. This weekend my family was all home for Mother’s Day. It was a lot of fun. We made lunch for mom. It’s a bit hard for my mom to not help out with lunch or dishes or anything. She did pretty good about it this year though J I’m so blessed to have a mom like her. Saturday morning her and I went out for coffee. This is our little tradition whenever I have a day off and she is home from tour. Lately they’ve been a little scarce. Anyways, we had a really nice time on Saturday. We talked about life and I shared with her some of things on my heart. It was such a blessing! I know she prays for me a lot. I’m so thankful for the many prayers that go up on my behalf. I love you mom!

God’s message to me lately seems to be “Trust me Kimmy, rest in me. I have good things in store for you.  Just trust in me! I will guide you!” I’m really trying, but I can’t say that I have fully accomplished it yet. Full surrender is a struggle for me some days. The cry of my heart is to just turn everything over to Him and to just rest in whatever His will is for my life. He is so good, so good!!! He’s so faithful! There have been many times where He’s taken my life a different direction than I thought t it should have gone. I didn’t always understand things at the time, but now I look back and I can see that He clearly knew what was best for me. You’d think I would eventually learn this trusting thing! I was listening to Michelle Tumes today and the words from the chorus of one of her songs really spoke to me. Here they are:

Rest my soul, rest my eyes
In the peace I long to hold
Be still my dreams, lay beside me and
Oh, rest my soul!
 

 I don’t know what you are facing or what decisions you are trying to make, but I encourage you to rest in Him let him guide you! He knows what is best for you!

Hey everyone! I know its been way too long since I updated! Im not really sure what to say. It seems like this  month is flying by. I turned 25 this month.I'll admit it was a little rough, but I'm just so thankful to be alive! My cousin was killed in a car accident about 4 weeks ago.She was 21 or 22 and had been married for about a year. There are days that I wonder where my life is going and wonder why Ive had to go through the things I have,but when I start thinking like that I just remember my cousin and just praise God that Im still alive and able to serve Him! PTL!!! My sister and Lexi came down for my birthday. It was fun. We stamped and scrapbooked and I played with Lexi a bunch. Saturday morning we went out to IHOP for breakfast and spent the rest of the day together. And then in the evening was the Bud Shootout!!! Finally racing is back!!! It has been a long off season!

Jr's win  was the perfect ending to my birthday!!!! It's been a long time since He's won. We had a little party that night. I bought Amp Energy drink(for those of you that don't know it's his new sponsor) and I bought a bunch of his new candy bars too. It was a great time!
